"The Pace-Egg Plays of the Calder Valley" The Pace-Egg Plays of the Calder Valley is the eagerly-awaited supplement to Dr Cass' definitive study published last year to great acclaim, which explored at length the Pace-Egg play in Lancashire. The new book focuses on the Calder Valley where the play has been widely known for centuries. Author Dr Eddie Cass is giving a talk at the special event organised to mark the publication. At Hebden Bridge Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 17, starting at 7.30pm, the event is being held in association with Frank Woolrych of the Alice Longstaff Gallery Collection, Hebden Bridge Local History Section and The Book Case, Hebden Bridge.
